Kaitlin + Jason were married on Cinco de Mayo. They wanted their wedding to be unique + fun – and to them that equals a colorful party which is exactly how their wedding turned out! With the gorgeous Santa Margarita Ranch as the venue, they were able to have a lovely outdoor ceremony, a train ride around the ranch after the wedding, a game of flip cup to start off the reception and then dance the night away in the pretty barn. Definitely a wedding I’d love to be a guest at. :) Big congrats to Kaitlin + Jason and thanks to Jake and Necia Photography for the photos!
Love their pretty dresses + how each one wore a different color shoe! Super stylish! :)
We did our grand entrance into the barn to the song “Home” by Edward Sharp. Each bridal party couple did their own little dance, and we were last. Once we were all on the dance floor, energy high, everyone smiling, the song faded and “Blow the Whistle” by Too Short started playing. Our pastor then ran into the barn with a referee shirt on blowing a whistle. He explained to everyone that a big part of our memories over the years involved a little game called “Flip Cup” (we met in college.) He then explained that we (the bride and groom) thought that there would be no better way to begin our marriage than to play a little game of bridesmaids vs. groomsmen flip cup to see who was “really” in charge of our marriage. The girls won in a landslide.
Don’t listen to the haters. There were times throughout the wedding planning process that people made me feel like my ideas were crazy. And guess what – Tapatio bottle favors with our heads on them and a Taco Bell delivery at the end of the night were some of our guest’s favorite aspects of our wedding. Listen to your gut, and do everything possible to make the day represent your personality as a couple. Those are the memories that people take with them from weddings. Oh and try not to cry from the stress too often, but understand that it will happen from time to time and that’s totally NORMAL!

Stunning photography of, by the looks of it, an equally stunning wedding! Such an outside vintage feel to it – I love it. So nice to see such eccentric themes coming out!

This wedding is packed with amazingness! The colors and details are stunning! Great job to all and the venue is so cool. I adore the how the guests found their table and the bridesmaids dresses are awesome as well as their shoes. Beautifully done everyone.
Wow! I totally love the details about this wedding!
The blue wedding shoes, the small details in the decoration, the bride’s maids’ dresses… Amazing!
Love, Kate
Does anyone know where the bridesmaid dresses are from? I am thinking about doing a similar color for my bridesmaids & really love these dresses!

I am completely in love with her gorgeous bridesmaid dresses! Any idea who/where they are from??? :)
Wow this one has so much cuteness in it I can’t even pinpoint one detail! Love it!
I love everything about this wedding. The creativity they showed and the personal touches they added make the whole day. I happen to be in agreement with a lot of the other commenters too. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bridesmaid dresses. My girls are wearing a similar shade of green and this dress would be perfect for my shower. Any idea where we can find it?? :)
There from Anthropologie :) But we got them about a year ago.
I LOOOOOVEEEE your dress! Any chance you’re selling it? :)
i am absolutely in love with those shoes – I’ve been looking for teal heels for 6 months. I found these Gabriella Rocha ones, but they are sold out everywhere. If you are a 6.5 or 7 and looking to sell. Let me know. :)
BTW, gorgeous wedding! Ours is coming up in August in a revamped warehouse in the city of Chicago. The decor has a similar crafty/vintage flair.
I have been looking at this blog for a while now and I will say this is one of the most adorable and creative weddings I have seen! Great job! Looks like you guys had lots of fun! Congrats on your marriage!
Wow! Amazing pictures! so many details to love! perfect!
Love all the windmills. Did you make them or buy them. If you made them do you have a template and if you bought them can you tell me where?
thanks :)
I love every single little detail of this wedding! So beautiful – the photos and design work on their invitations/stationary, bridesmaid dresses, the photography, flower arrangements, and reception site.
Job perfectly done!!!!!!!
a beautiful wedding produced by darling girl and boy with help and inspiration from parents and step-parents…i had a complete report from my 90-yr old mom (step-grandma) WHO LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. the photos are incredible.
I love the tapatio sauce bottles. Did you order the labels or made them yourself??
Love the Tapatio bottles…Where did you get those labels with your pictures on them?
Hot sauce and lollipops! Love it all!
What a fun & fab wedding! I’m obsessed!! And flip cup!? I wish I had been a bridesmaid :)
Wow. I love how personal your wedding looks. I am trying to work as many personal things into ours as much as I can. Hard on a budget. Hardest part is finding such a cute unique ceremony/reception location. At least for me.
Agreed! My advice would be to try and think of random things that you are and your fiance love. Then try and think of any way you can incorporate those things. That’s what people always remember! And good luck with the location – it’s all down hill once you find it!
Hi Kaitlin! LOVE your wedding pictures, everything looks wonderful!
Where did you get your shoes, and specially the shoes decorations? are they shoe clips?
Thank you!
It was really a perfect and lovely wedding pictures. The design and styles of the dress was so very fabulous.
