Rustic + Modern Wedding Inspiration

bride and groom

Today’s wedding inspiration comes from two different aesthetics – modern and rustic! The two seem far from being similar, but Brittany from Stella Event Design knew exactly how to mesh them together perfectly! The design of the shoot started with selecting a color scheme which included deep, rich colors like sapphire, emerald, plum, and gold…

Once the colors were chosen, they collected vases in those colors and selected a sequin gold runner – love! Modern Day Floral filled the vases with greenery and pops of color perfectly tying the tablescape together.

  1. Really Nice, her shoes are pretty

  2. Her shoes are AMAZING! Perfect match with the gold silverware too. Beautiful. :)

  3. So pretty! Love the bright colors paired with the rustic details.

  4. Oh geez. Love the colors! Love their coordinated teal footwear/socks. So slick. And as a nature lover I’m LOVING the rustic, natural, plant-heavy style. Beautiful. Lovely photos, too!

  5. Okay, so I know there are already comments about this, but I couldn’t NOT comment on the absolutely adorable colour-matching bridal shoes and groom’s socks – I just love these little touches!!!

Also have to add, they’ve done a fantastic job of complementing the rustic theme with their chosen colour scheme, it looks beautiful!

Huge congrats to the lovely couple!

  7. Lovely colours and great inspiration for rustic and chilled wedding but still thought thru and elegantly pulled off.

  8. Love the color palette. Especially love the bouquet and Kate Spade shoes!

  9. Love the socks :) Will let the wife know about the shoes, she’ll appreciate them more than I

  10. I love the rustic ideas ..Our theme is Burlap and lace so we are looking for ideas to go with it. Thanks

  11. That’s very creative. Like the menu cards and the decors but the best is of course the couple, They seem to me be made for the theme.

  12. Can you ever go wrong with the combo of succulents + artichokes?

Seriously, these images have given me my chicken soup for inspiration. <3 them :)

  13. Oh my God, I cannot explain how much I loved this inspiration post. It’s just amazing…
I already got engaged, my fiancé’s name is Matt Liverman and we’re seriously planning on getting that specific design for our invitations, we just love it.
The whole theme of the wedding is perfect so basically we think we’re going to recreate it adding our favorite colors and personal details of our own.
I truly deeply love this post.
