Let’s all take a mental vacay to the Mediterranean this afternoon + step into the gorgeous, rustic setting Jennifer Fujikawa designed, then captured on camera, oh-so perfectly! For couples who love the charm + beauty of a destination wedding in Europe, but know traveling abroad just isn’t in the cards, be sure to take notes (and pin lots of photos!) from this pretty editorial. There are so many lovely ways to incorporate those rustic, sought-after Mediterranean details in a celebration that can take place much closer to home!
From Jennifer, This Mediterranean-style wedding was intended to include just the right amount of substance and style. Our stylish couple enjoys traveling, the ocean and great eating. We imagined what a wedding would look like in their classic home by the sea. Earthy colors and tones were everywhere; in the home, the floral arrangement & bouquet and even the food. The food vignettes are appetizers, desserts and drinks the bride & groom would serve at the wedding.
We’re kiiiind of obsessed with that gorge, lace off-the-shoulder dress from Allure Bridals! And we’re equally as into those amazing floral details created by Charmain of Emblem Flowers. So, so pretty.
Jennifer says, Carefully prepared and placed, but hearty enough to fill their guests’ stomachs. Kumquats, pomegranates and rosemary helped the beautiful florals become “fresh flowers that played with your palate” and they also fit in nicely with our overall color tone. The table setting was a simple silver and tan over wood, embellished by our gorgeous floral arrangement.
We’re not ready to come back to reality yet! This editorial was just too pretty. Big thanks to everyone below for creating such a beautiful + inspirational setting!

Absolutely stunning!!!
the off shoulder lace dress is lovely
This whole shoot is genuinely beautiful! I’m really impressed by the food styling as well!
Love the oranges and greens in the flowers and how they are reflected in the setting…so Mediterranean!
Yes, absolutely gorgeous veil! My tip: if you’re doing a long veil, make sure it’s easy to take it in and out of your hair a couple times. The trick is to use it for a *few* indoor portraits after all the outdoor stuff is done (like that STUNNING shot in the chair above!), and then just have it for the ceremony. Do most of your outdoor portraits without it!
