Rustic Country Chic Italian Wedding Inspiration

grooms wearing a tweed suit

Today’s lovely styled shoot is from a bunch of talented Italian artists! They were inspired by Italy in the Fifties. At that time lots of families lived in farmhouses and the barnyard was the meeting point where people got together in the evening after working in the fields. They used that as inspiration along with fall colors + copper – which was a typical element in the farmhouse. Such lovely rustic wedding inspiration!

The bouquet contains Turner white chrysanthemums (a flower variety similar to the dahlia), buttercups and white lisianthus, wild red berries and clear yellow winterberry, beech leaves and ivy.

And of course they couldn’t not include the car symbol of the Fifties in Italy: the aqua green Fiat 500!

The sweets table had white porcelain plates with Italian tradition cakes such as the “crostata” (a jam tart), the “ciambella” (a ring-shaped cake), the Bigné (cream puff) cake and the “TORRONE” (nougat), a typical sweet of Cremona city; near them a fruits stand with pomegranates, pears, apples plus crystal bottles and shot glasses and a rich flowers arrangement.
