Rooftop Wedding With French Details + A Dinner Party

French Inspired Rooftop Wedding

If hosting is your thing, you’re going to love the sweet details from today’s wedding! Courtney + Michael are both attorneys in New York and their dream day included a dinner-party feel with French attributes. They called on The Dedicated New Yorker to help plan the rooftop ceremony and Cassidy Parker Smith to capture all the sweet moments.

The main goal was for guests to relax, have fun, enjoy good food, music, and conversation. Sounds like the perfect components for a dinner party! Throw in views of lower Manhattan, a French patisserie dessert bar, candlelight, and most importantly, Courtney + Michael’s beautiful union, and you’re in for a magical night.

Let’s have a look at how it all came together!

Little Blue Bird Invitations created the throwback library card invitation. You know you’re in for a night of creative touches with a hint of nostalgia + personality when this arrives in the mail!

Rue De Seine Wedding Dress

Courtney absolutely owns The Fox gown by Rue De Seine from Lovely Bride in NYC. We’ve seen bride’s put their own unique touch on this classic dress and Courtney’s floral crown brings the perfect amount of whimsy to the boho style.

So sweet, these two! The Paintbox gave Courtney her romantic curls and Sara Tramont‘s soft makeup palette brought the look together.

Loving all the florals and greenery? Designs by Ahn‘s creations brilliantly offset the industrial factory’s lines and colors with lush boughs, hinting at the marriage of new life with established foundation.

La Vie En Rose by Louie Armstrong and God Only Knows by Beach Boys played to begin the ceremony, and the newlyweds chose Moonage Daydream by David Bowie for the recessional.

After the vows, guests headed to the cobblestone courtyard for a family-style dinner catered by Glasserie with more lovely greenery, candlelight, and a French jazz band.

Nothing like ending the night with an underground dance party, right? Many congrats to Courtney + Michael!
