Romantic Shakespeare Wedding Inspiration

Shakespeare inspiration

We know that this is the time of year when even newly engaged gals have the holidays on their mind. That’s why we think today’s styled shoot, by Laura from Events In The City + photographer, Abby Jiu, is kind of the best. The beautiful ideas you’re about to see would perfectly suit a holiday dinner party just as well as they would a romantic fall or winter wedding! The team envisioned a setting that was dark and mysterious, yet modern + unique. An updated twist on romance, if you will. So, get ready to be inspired + pin a couple of gorgeous things for whatever upcoming event you might be planning!

Sweet Root Village couldn’t have whipped up more spectacular florals for this Shakespeare-inspired editorial. The deep red peonies + garden roses are so dramatic + those rad, wispy greens + watercolor-y orchids are such fun + textural touches.

Laura closes with a bit more about the shoot’s Shakespeare backstory from the team, With deep romantic tones, intertwined with primal accents this forsaken love bared witness by those who dared to attend. Forgroing the presence of their families was the only option and would not stop of the enduring love that these two shared. This commitment was celebrated by sharing wine and breaking bread; toasts were heard and a new marriage was born.

Thanks so much to everyone below for sharing their talents with us today!
