A wedding like today’s is the perfect example of a timeless + classic celebration done right. So insanely lovely that you’ll look back on your images (these ones are by the talented Lauren Fair Photography) every decade with nothing but contentment; no regrets in sight! But what makes Andrea + Peter’s day even better is that, although it appears to be more traditional with all those romantic details, if you really look closely, you’ll see they incorporated so much of themselves into the design, which gave the whole setting a super fun spin. Andrea explains all that in more depth below:
Peter willingly let me take the wheel when it came to bringing to life our wedding day vision, which I would describe as secret garden meets fairytale romance! I envisioned shades of pinks, deep reds, creams, lush greens, and gold accents. Because I’m the ultimate girly girl, I knew that I wanted to balance out all of the feminine aspects with some touches that would reflect Peter’s very manly & outdoorsy personality as well. It turns out that playing up our ying/yang personalities in our design was the best decision because it created a unique look! I owe all of this to Belovely Floral & Event Design, who completely took my vision and ran with it, making it better than I could have ever imagined! Peter and I were absolutely blown away by it all, as were our guests.
And she also tells us a bit about her gorgeous blush pink Liancarlo wedding dress, Two months after we got engaged, my Mom passed away after her long battle with breast cancer. I was absolutely devastated, and have never been more thankful to have such an amazing man by my side to help me through what was the toughest experience of my life. I knew immediately that I wanted to incorporate as many little touches of her as I could into our wedding day. Because I wasn’t stuck on the traditional white dress, I was thrilled when I fell in love with a blush pink dress. As a huge supporter of breast cancer charities, this was to honor my Mom in the form of the most important dress I would ever wear! From my dress, to the bouquet charm, to the homemade limoncello favors as a nod to her favorite drink, it was hard not to feel like my Mom was there with us in spirit and that helped me smile through the day!
My favorite moment from our day was definitely our first look! I can't even begin to say how much relief I felt after seeing Peter before our ceremony! My nerves were instantly at ease and I'm so happy we decided to do that. Plus, I instantly smile remembering how speechless Peter was when he first saw me in my dress! Immediately after the first look, our photographer and videographer gave us 5 uninterrupted minutes to just walk off and be alone to take everything in, which I think was the greatest gift! We were so overwhelmed by all the emotions and attention, and it was so special to have those few minutes to just look at each other and be in the moment!
Love the bridesmaids’ Dessy dresses. Such a perfect color, right?!
A + P said their venue (Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania) made them feel like they were being whisked away to a European chateau. We think that was the perfect description for the property. It’s such a good one!
There was lots of pretty calligraphy happening at the reception! We don’t think we’ll ever tire of this look…
And we’re definitely on board with these sequin chevron table runners! Something about them feels extra perfect when paired with the bright centerpieces Belovely Floral & Event Design put together.

I think my biggest piece of advice having gone through it all is kind a cliche, but it would be to not lose sight of what the day is truly all about. As a bride, it's extremely easy to get caught up in it all. Even though you'll be surrounded by so many guests who came to support you, don't forget to be a little selfish on your wedding day and steal moments together away from the crowd to just take it all in! Some of my favorite memories from our night were made when Peter and I wandered off to a quiet space to just enjoy a quiet moment!

Soooo romantic and beautiful! I am certainly pulling ideas from this color palette if I do blush for my June wedding.
