I’m excited to share this Palm Springs wedding with you guys today. You might recognize Sara + Ryan from their fun engagement session I featured a few months ago. They were married at one of my favorites hotels in Palm Springs – the Ace Hotel. Gorgeous photos by the talented Sarah Yates.
Love Sara’s short dress with the ruffles + her bright bold bouquet!
What a fun area for the reception! Love that camper van they have behind the dj – that is permanent there at the Ace :)

How totally cool is this? Love it!
Hi! I really liked to read your blog because I learn a lot of things. I loved the bride’s dress coz it’s not the usual long gowns that we’ve seen and she looks so stunning in that dress.
This wedding is so truly unique. The mix of trailer-chic and elegant detailing adds interest to each photo. I am in love with the bride’s fur bolero…so beautiful! I also noticed the small “Advice Jar.” What a cute twist on an advice book!
Thank you everyone for your wedding love! We’re so honored to be featured on Green Wedding Shoes. Many thanks to Sarah Yates!
Love the Advice Jar!! great idea
This is perfection!!! Love it all.
What a gorgeous wedding… love the short wedding dress!
What a beautiful venue! Love the scenic shots.
Love the hair and makeup Sara. Where did you get it done? Looking for natural and retro inspired hair and makeup without looking like a prom queen.
@Kat, thanks so much! I did my own makeup as I have some training. My friend Natalie does amazing hair, even though her day job is not a stylist! She and I researched styles we liked on the internet and then did something a little looser than fingerwaves.
We are obsessed with this bride’s impeccable taste and style! The Ace Hotel looks like a beautiful location for a wedding reception. Good choice! Many of our brides have had the advice jar at their reception as well. We think it’s a very smart idea and fun idea. Congratulations Sara and Ryan!
