This wedding is so happy + fun + has so many special touches the couple incorporated. I just adore it! Thanks so much to Heather (event designer extraordinaire!) from Amorology for sharing some of the inspiration into their day.
“Roselyn + Ben’s wedding was centered around happy memories from the couple and of course created more amazing memories for everyone who was involved. Our initial inspiration for the wedding came from some of the bride’s fondest memories, which could be traced back to her time spent on her Grandpa’s farm. We knew that Strawberry Farms in Irvine would be the perfect venue for a gorgeous farm inspired wedding!”
We played around with the farm concept even further by having guests names and seating printed and planted into crates filled with soil. Guests searched through troughs of carrots, sunflowers, strawberries, green beans, raspberries, and heads of lettuce to find what table they would be sitting at.
We also wanted to hint at the bride & groom’s occupations and where their love first started growing, at an elementary school. With this in mind, we designed the table names to encompass their current jobs as teachers, as well as fond childhood memories of their own. Using old pictures from time spent on the farm we played upon simple descriptions like “little brown farmhouse”, “big yellow tractor” and “rusty bucket” for the table names that we created. This helped bring a playful childlike component to the reception.
Handmade “little jam jar favors” with custom labels greeted guests at each place setting. There were of course lots of other fun handmade projects that we brought in to the affair like custom table runners, made by the bride’s mom, that matched the custom cake boxes we created to display the beyond cute cake. Darling little rosettes made by the Pincushion Princess also added a touch of whimsy when attached to the centerpiece wooden crates and the bridesmaids dresses. The wooden crates were filled with gorgeous & lush centerpieces of acacia, kale, roses, ranunculus, cherry blossom, and geranium leaf. The beautiful florals created by Twigg Botanicals helped set the tone for the reception.
Another element that brought some fun to the reception was the vintage inspired sippin’ soda fountain, where we had rows and rows of old-fashioned, brightly bottled sodas and root beer floats for guests to take and enjoy! Guests helped themselves to a “Strawberry Patch” cupcake bar, where we displayed cupcakes adorned with cute strawberry graphics. They were definitely “yum” and “sweet!” Guests were not only treated to sweets, but also the In N’ Out truck, a favorite eatery of the couple’s! Who wouldn’t be happy with a double-double? What really sent the night over the edge with awesomeness was the square dance caller. Sounds crazy, but everyone had a great time trying to “do sa do!”

I haven’t seen a wedding that I love this much in a long time! They took a popular wedding concept and completely blew it out of the water to make it a one-of-a-kind event. All of the colors, the florals, and THE FOOD, look absolutely delish!!!
Yippee!!! This wedding is just fabulously fun! I LOVE the escort area ~ so very clever. And all the pops of color are gorgeous. Holy moly In N’ Out Burger ~ Really???? LOVE it even more ;-)

I LOVE this wedding! Such bright, happy colors and super fun details. I especially love the bridesmaids attire, her bouquet wrap, and all the strawberry details. Also, I’d be thrilled to go to a wedding where they served Inn n’ Out burgers!!
How charming! Great wedding feature…

incredible details! so fabulous!!!
Question: Did Strawberry Farms allow the in n out truck without ordering their main dishes!?! I heard they do not allow outside catering!?!
Her dress is FANTABULOUS!
okay, that has to bee the sweetest bouquet wrap detail i have ever seen!!
Oh my! This wedding makes me want to do it all over again…with my hubby of course! The bright colors and farm fresh vibe give such a happy feeling. That’s what it should be about on your wedding day! Thanks for sharing.

What great colors in this wedding. The vegetable seating/name cards is such a cool idea.
This is the most gorgeously colorful wedding I have ever seen! I love the Bridesmaids outfits!

Does anyone know where the brides first dress is from? It’s gorgeous.
I love the bridesmaids’ dresses and the seating chart is adorable. This whole wedding is great.
I love every second of everything! Such a beautiful bride!!!! Go Roselyn!!! Love you!!!
Is that a belt the Bride’s wearing or is that part of the dress. I love it!
What a fun, beautiful wedding! I adore all the colors and fun details, the soda makes for great pictures too. Love it!
Where did you buy all of the soda for your vintage soda fountain? I want to do this idea so bad for my wedding but have no idea where to get the soda. Absolutely adorable! Thanks for your help!
I had such a blast shooting this wedding. Thanks so much GWS for featuring it. Amorology is amazing!
Oh I love the bridesmaid dresses! Anyone know where they’re from I’d love them in a different skirt colour!
Thank you so much everyone! The bridesmaid dresses are from Anthropologie. I had was so fortunate to have the most amazing team in the world. Amorology created the perfect day for me and my husband. I take zero credit for any of it. It was all Heather. Gideon photography was a dream to work with. As you can imagine, I cried when Robin (Twigg Botanicals) gave me my boquet. Every detail fit our personalities perfectly and made the day so memorable, beautiful, and fun.
Wow. This is by far my favorite wedding that I have ever seen. Everything is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Curious as to how to got around Strawberry Farms catering policies. Amazing wedding!
I am looking for a jacket/ blazer to put over my dress and I have not been able to find one anywhere. I absolutely love yours!! Where did you get it from or did you have it custom made??
Roselyn,
How did Strawberry Farms let the In & Out truck in??? Do you know people in high places…..
First wedding I’ve seen at a strawberry farm- what a fantastic idea!!
The colors made this wedding REAL eye candy… so sweet that my eyes are aching. ;)
All the creativity (I’m obsessing over the place card idea) really was the cherry on the cake! So many wonderful ideas.
My ONLY objection… is the white tights on the bridesmaids. With those cute cowboy boots on I wonder if it would have looked nicer without the tights… D:
Other than that, this wedding really grabbed me. I loved it.
They had In-N-Out for their reception? I need friends like these people.
Where in the world did you get that FABULOUS sash with the big beautiful flowery/jewel thing? It is GORGEOUS!
This wedding is beautiful! So many great details, strawberries and the drink station = I love!
Does anyone know the fabric designer used for the table runner? I have looked everywhere and I can’t find it!
I am looking for a jacket/ blazer to put over my dress for our october wedding and I have not been able to find one anywhere. I absolutely love yours!! Where did you get it from or did you have it custom made??
LOVE this wedding. I am modeling my own after it :) I have been searching high and low for teal strawberry crates. Can someone please tell me where on earth I could find those??
Just in case anyone else was wondering about the fabric used on the table runners; I finally found it! The designer is Anna Maria Horner. The fabric is from her line “good folks” and it’s called “small gathering.”
Lilly – I think you should check out etsy. There are tons of jackets on there perfect for your wedding day. Check out these sellers: Countessa, alexbridal, maryandangelika. Good luck!
Rosalyn, Where is your dress from? I’m looking for a belt like that.
Truly gorgeous wedding
This wedding is absolutely adorable! It looked like so much fun! I love all the colors, the beverages, the decor and THE CAKE! So awesome! Thanks for posting!
