I love the simple beauty of this wedding and their non traditional rehearsal dinner at the Evergreen Aviation Museum – what a cool space for a dinner party! Thanks to photographer Leah Verwey for sharing this pretty wedding with us. Pasy + Rolan were striving for a “non-wedding-y” dinner party. They had a live band, a fireplace kicking, blankets, cupcakes and a late-night taco bar – super fun!
And then their wedding with the loveliest Sarah Seven dress! Pasy + Rolan wanted 3 things for their wedding. Great food + great wine + great music = great party. Sounds like a perfect plan to me!
Love her brooch bouquet by Quince Flowers & Events.
Most memorable moment of your wedding day? When I couldn’t get the ring on his finger during the ceremony and the priest said, “someone need to hit the gym?”
Two unique things we did were when we entered the church, we had all of the guests sing, “Going to the Chapel” and when we left, we had everyone sing “Here comes the sun” – it was fabulous! The other unique and yummy thing was the late night taco bar. :)
Any advice for those planning now? Do your homework and get a photographer you love!
