Northern California Backyard Wedding: Nury + Aaron

Today I have a super sweet, homespun wedding from Nury + Aaron who got married at Point Lobos Ridge in a private home in Carmel. I love that Nury used GWS for her wedding planning and really wanted her wedding to be about them. She wanted their wedding to have a “viking” feel, so she collected little viking figurines from etsy and made the cake topper herself which is she + Aaron sailing away in a viking boat! How cute! The day was designed + planned by the super talented ladies of Bash, Please who helped bring the NordicĀ inspirationĀ to life with their paper goods + florals with a feminine, but outdoorsy/wild feel. Gorgeous photos by Jeff Newsom and the night ended with the most amazing sky in Carmel – which Jeff managed to captured, wait until you see it! Congrats to Nury + Aaron!

The beautiful chuppah was constructed by Aaron and his step-father with Korean fabric purchased by Nury in Seoul. Nury walked down the aisle to “Such Great Heights.

Their wedding favors were crocheted corsages + bouts made by the mother of bride and chocolate-dipped oreos made by the mother of groom.
