Hollywood DIY Wedding: Natalie + Jared

Talented photographer Jill Thomas is sharing the most lovely wedding today with a to-die-for dress and her artistically captured photos – I’m totally smitten! Everything has a simple vintage elegance to it and just seems so relaxed + lovely. My most favorite part though, is Natalie’s dress which her mother made. Simply stunning. Her jacket is from Nordstrom and Natalie made her amazing necklace. What a talented + creative family (Natalie is a graphic designer + Jared is a musician). Oh, and that gorgeous bouquet – Natalie made that too.

Natalie – you are a gorgeous bride!! After their ceremony at the LDS LA temple, they went up to get some classic photos by one of my most favorite LA landmarks – the Hollywood sign!

After the photo session, Natalie + Jared had an open house reception with close family and friends. With their limited budget, they only could afford a photographer for part of the day, but it was still very important to have some amazing photos and portraits of the day. Great thinking since you will have these stunning photos to remember forever!

Thanks so much for letting me share your beautiful photos Jill. Jill Thomas is based out of San Diego, CA, but will travel for weddings. If you haven’t seen Jill’s new blog, go check it out now – it’s beautiful! Also, Emily over at the lovely Once Wed is featuring some additional photos from the day, so be sure to check those out also.
