Lynh + David wanted a fun, artistic and bohemian wedding – Anthropologie meets Urban Green. :) They both grew up in Texas and attended The University of Texas, but didn’t meet up untl a year after graduation, when they realized they shared a lot of the same friends. Because of their love for travel, food and adventure, they moved to San Francisco after a year of dating – to experience a different life. Even though California is now their home, Texas will always be their first love. Biggest congrats you guys and thanks for letting me share your wedding!
After the ceremony, guests arrived at the Smog Shoppe and were immediately offered St. Germain margaritas and three gourmet lemonades from glass vessels on the specialty bar. Vintage suitcases filled with chunky mood moss held escort cards for guests to take before entering the dinner area.
At the end of cocktail hour, the garage doors were raised, revealing an artistic and vibrant dinner space offering a central longtable, flanked by square tables and a dance floor. The couple’s favorite movies played silently on the rear screen. The DJ spun Lynh and David’s favorite records from the corner of the room as guests found their seats in the interior reception space. The long tables were draped with a patterned plum runner, vintage sage chargers and accented by wildflowers placed in vintage glass vessels with an abundance of candlelight. A cake table was placed near the eclectic bookshelf featuring a 3 tier white cake decorated with delicate plum sugar anemones and live sweet peas.

This wedding is so refreshing! Loved every bit of it. What location was the bride taken with the plates on the wall? Is that from a hotel she was staying at?
This wedding is so beautiful! Love all the pretty, vintage Anthro little details. Beautiful couple, the bride’s hair and makeup is gorgeous!
Dear N,
Lynh got ready at the fabulous Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, and I simply could not resist those plates, which were on the wall over the couch in her room! Every single moment of this wedding was amazing…I was so lucky to be a part of it. :)Yvette
The flowers are beautiful!
The plum and green table setting is just so elegant, and yet warm and inviting!
Noticed the different types of wooden chairs. Love that ‘found’ look! Beautiful palette!

I absolutely love the getaway motorcycle!
Thank you Yvette. I like the way you choose to photograph the bride against those particular plates on the neutral rettan wall background. I have seen photographs of the Viceroy with the grey wall and white plates. The fact that you made this look so romantic…. be still my heart! :D
Where did those invites come from??? I’m loving them!
Agreed- I too, LOVE the invites. Too cute.
But what I love most about this wedding is the couple! They are so cute together and so fun!!
The picture of them riding off on the motorbike was my favorite!
Anyone notice her killer shoes?? The bottoms are bright red! Uber cute.
Jen, This is an amazing post! I love the cake… beautiful!
