Joel and Cara Flory are a husband and wife team based out of San Francisco. They photographed the real wedding we are featuring today. I stumbled across their blog last week and really love their work, especially this wedding.
Loralie and Kevin had a small wedding in San Francisco this past November. I love the intimate feel of this wedding – and the beautiful blue dress Loralie had made for herself. Loralie and Kevin got ready at Hotel Vitale and then went down to the ferry building where they had some wine and oysters at the Hog Island Osyter Company. They took a bunch of portraits around town, then had an amazing roof top ceremony at the Art Institute. They ended the night with an intimate dinner reception at Florio.

The dress was custom-made by Joyce Hittelsdorf. She has a small studio in Carmel, Indiana called Something Wonderful. When I couldn’t find anything that I loved in the stores, Joyce worked with me to put together a gown that had all of the elements I was looking for: right color, right fabrics, right fit.

The weather that day was so beautiful. And that dress. Wow!
