I really love the style of today’s real wedding – a vintage, rustic vibe – my favorite! This wedding was at the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center in Huntington Beach, CA. Jesi Haack was the talent behind the design (including the florals – with my new fav billy buttons!) and coordination of the day. I love the classic gray suits for the guys, along with gray vans and colored socks. Kayli went with a handmade string of pearls made by her mom, and a vintage fabric flower for her hair with patent leather yellow heels to complete her look. Jesi added some of Kayli’s grandmother’s vintage buttons from her collection to the corsages and boutonnieres to bring in the vintage, personal touch. This wedding was photographed by the talented Aaron Shintaku with help from the equally talented Amy Hinden since Aaron was also a groomsman.
One of my other favorite things about this wedding is the amazing dessert bar created by Melody Brandon of Sweet & Saucy Shop. The intricate dessert bar showcased homemade cookies by the mother of the bride and fudge by the grandmother of the groom – and the cake is so so beautiful!! So many personal treasures were woven throughout the design of this event. The shredded vintage sheet backdrop with scrapbook page flags that hung behind the dessert display is so lovely! Oh, and there was a horse for some photos – love!

The amazing vendors:

OMG! love this wedding. everything. thanks for sharing. those desserts look so yummy!!
WOW! Am I honored! This is one of my all time FAVORITE wedding blogs and somehow my husband and I got blogged!?! It would NOT have happened at all without all the help from Jesi Haack. Almost ALL of our vendors are close friends and we are extremely blessed to have worked with such amazing people! ALSO! A shout out to a lovely lady who made my flowers for my hair :) You have all heard of her before for her lovely "oh my deer handmades"! Chelsea they were perfect!! http://ohmydeerhandmades.blogspot.com/
P.S. The chalkboards were bought at Michaels, spray painted white by me and my mother and I wrote the lil sayings with white chalk ink! SUPER easy and inexpensive!
Jen, Thank you so much for posting us! I loved this wedding from the bottom of my heart! And I am in LOVE with your blog :)
Here is the answer to the banner question:
I bought a bunch of old sheets from thrifts stores, ripped them into long strips and hung them from PVC pipe. I bought a ton of scrapbook paper from Michael's and had them cut into triangles from Kinkos, then hot glued them on to yarn and hung them! It was my favorite part of the wedding!
As mother of the bride, I have to say the Jesi Haack is INCREDIBLE. She thought of every little detail, and we had so much fun. The desserts were amazing and the dessert bar ingenious. Jesi also did all the georgeous flower centerpieces and had small heirloom trinkets on all of the bridesmaid's bouquets. It was like a fairy tale come true – THANK YOU Jesi.
One of the prettiest weddings I've seen in a long time. Truly.
I love it all! The flowers are exquisite. Especially digging the lemon aisle decor and the banners. Amazing!

As the great-grandmother of the bride,at 98+, my mother was delighted with the entire wedding. She loved the uniqueness of the wedding and told me it also reminded her of the weddings she remembered going to as a child in Missouri, rustic, charming & with the feeling of family. Everyone involved should take a bow…you all helped to make it a very special moment in time. As Kayli's great-aunt I was delighted & amazed at the merging of simplicity & elegence…Well done!!!
oh my gosh– i love everything about this wedding. it shows almost all of my ideas floating in my head really can be carried out. thanks for sharing!! i may repost some pictures!
