Amanda + Liam met in 8th grade. They were joined by a small gathering of family and friends from Austin, TX to enjoy an overnight celebration among the trees, treehouses, trails, + hammocks at Treehouse Point in Snoqualmie Valley, Washington. All photographed by the talented Sergio Mottola.
Most memorable moment of your wedding day? Hands down walking down the aisle. I was holding the hand of my biggest fan, my big brother… being led by a dear friend playing a Sufjan Stevens song on his acoustic guitar… weaving our way across a bridge and down the path within the forest to a small stage… which stood my love waiting for me… all before our loving family and friends beneath the towering trees and glowing sun rays. It was magical.
Our primary focus of the day was to not detract from the existing beauty but to provide touches scattered throughout Treehouse Point that reflected our personalities. Since this was a destination wedding for us we felt a huge need to make as much by hand (or purchase handmade) and support the local community.
Any advice for those planning now? Keep it personal and make it memorable for the two of you. It was really important to us to add those unexpected touches to make each guests know how much we appreciated them being there. For example, we had a hand written note waiting for each guests at their place setting. Our officiant was a dear friend that became ordained on-line especially for our ceremony. We are all about the memories so plan your wedding by what is important to YOU.
Also, invest in a great photographer. Do your research. Make phone calls and view their portfolios. In the end, it’s well worth it! Remember, these are your memories. And lastly, enjoy enjoy enjoy!

This is just delightful! Like, how adorable are these two? I’m loving the huge monograms, and how the rustic country theme has an oriental layer to it.

I wore the same Robert Bullock dress at my backyard wedding earlier this summer! It’s pretty AND comfortable, and the sash is convertible.
WOW! No other words to describe it but WOW! BEAUTIFUL! Ok so I found a word but it doesn’t do this wedding justice. Not only was it beautiful but you can “feel” the love between them! And yes, GORGEOUS dress!
