A Pretty + Fun invitation really gives your guest the first impression of your wedding, so that is why I’m such a fan of doing some unique and totally about you as a couple. Some of my favorites I’ve seen around the web this past week…
The thing that grabbed my eye for these first invitaions are the lovely collection of vintage stamps and the gorgeous script type – oh, and it is my favorite too, letterpress. The invitations were designed by the bride Nichole Tremblay and printed by Studio on Fire. Nicole put the invites together tying the cards together with a textural gauze ribbon and even made her own lined envelopes. And how gorgeous are her stamp collages on the envelopes!? Each envelope was different – little works of art unto themselves. This is one invite that wouldn’t go in the trash!
How cute is the envelope liner? :) They will be bowling at the reception dinner – how fun!
And I love mason jars, so when I saw Kristin + Dale’s fun invites (they have a gnome on the invite!), I was smitten! {via FPO}
We don’t talke a lot about Bridal Showers, but they are such a fun part of the whole wedding process also. I love the delicate, hand-stitched look that Kelli Murray created for these invites. She also included an extra note card in the invitation in which the girls could write their favorite recipe and bring it back to the shower. Then they presented Dana a recipe book she will have for her new home. :)
I first saw the invites Kelli did on her blog; aren’t they so sweet? I love the recipe idea-it’s not only a great keepsake, but practical too!

This is SUCH a cute post. Those grey letter press ones are so fun and unique! Love that they say,
“You should come, it will be fun.” & “Come for the love, stay for the dessert and cocktails.”
Can I come too?
