Happy 2015 + welcome to all you newly engaged couples! :) We’ve been sharing our favorites from 2014 this week and today it’s all about the details + decor. A stunning wedding is really the sum of all the little details that make it beautiful + unique. At GWS, we love weddings (and editorials) with lots of uncommon or personal design elements that make it stand out from the rest in a big way. 2014 was a year of amazing design in a wide variety of styles. We shared weddings with incredible rustic details, others with a ton of gorge glam elements, and a handful that were inspired by a major movie or a single, fun design feature.
Whether you’re planning to DIY your day, or work with a stylist to bring your design ideas to life, we think our list of the best details of 2014 will surely inspire you in one way or another. In no particular order, let’s take a look at the top 16 design elements from the past year…

Wow! The 1500 stems of blooming cherry + pear branches idea was very stunning. And I must say the sweet paper flower dessert table setting fits well with the season.
