Our Baby’s Newborn Photos

I’m so excited to share our sweet newborn photos of our baby girl with you all today! Sienna Kylee Campbell was born on February 13th – yep, 5 1/2 weeks early! Someone was as excited to meet us as we were to meet her! :) She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches. Such a little cutie!

We asked our talented friend Caroline Tran to capture some photos of her during her first week and I just love them! To be totally honest, I really didn’t feel like doing photos that first week – it was a pretty exhausting first week since she was a preemie, we had feedings every 2 hours (even at night). We had a great plan in place to efficiently use the days, right up until her due date, to plan for her arrival, but quickly learned that when you have kids…no matter how much planning you do, you’d better be prepared to modify your plans on the fly. All of the doctors at the hospital laughed when we told them of our plans and quickly guessed that we were first time parents. :)

So, since Sienna decided to arrive early, we had a good amount of work on the nursery to get done after bringing her home. In fact, we literally just painted the nursery and put the carpet and chair in three days before she arrived. Regardless of all our quick work on her nursery and sleepless nights, I’m SO glad we had Caroline come over an capture her that first week. She has already changed so much!

Since we didn’t have most of the nursery completely done in time for the shoot, Caroline didn’t get to capture it (but don’t worry, we still plan to share that with you lovelies later this month!).  However, we did finish our fun accent wall which made a great backdrop for some photos. :) For those curious, the accent wall is made of these rad decals from MUR (I’m going to share more on that also in the next few weeks) and the white Moroccan pouf is from Serena & Lily.
