Organic Italian Bridal Inspiration

Amalfi Coast Bridal

What do you say we collectively take a break from what we’re doing and (mentally) transport ourselves to the beautiful Amalfi coast of Italy? It doesn’t take too much convincing, right? We’ve been in such a dreamy state since we first laid eyes on these gorgeous images by Laura Sponaugle, featuring a ridiculously lovely long sleeved wedding dress by Delphine Manivet from Maria Fekih. Another perfect + unique dress for our bridal fashion week! Let’s hear more about the inspiration behind this beautiful scene from Laura:

High above the sun-dappled Amalfi coast, the ruins of la Basilica di Sant’Eustachio grace the mountainside of Scala, an Italian hamlet long known for its cool nonchalance and relaxed atmosphere. The ruins inspired the team of photographers and artists who came together in this town to participate in an awe-inspiring workshop and fashion shoot. The storyboard was simple: an affianced girl awaits her betrothed, wistfully ruminating on what is to come. With the virtuoso styling of Joy Proctor and the mentorship of Sandra Aberg and KT Merry, the Moda e Arte Workshop experience is one that will never be forgotten. With the statues, stone pathways, and overlooks, the history and importance of every inch of ruins rushes at you. It is pure magic for anyone visiting and an absolute dream for the lucky bride and groom who may say their vows here in a place grounded in beauty, tradition, and the romance of unconditional love.
