We’re not sure we could be more in love with Paige + Jon Mark’s stunning wedding, held at The Bridge Building in Nashville. Their vision for the day was for it to be modern, organic, natural and fun – as well as combine their personal styles and keep in line with who they are as a couple. Well, they achieved their goal in spades, with a day that was bursting with handmade details, lush local florals, picture-perfect attire (for the masses) and an incredible river view. Here’s a bit more from Paige about the initial design inspiration:
I saw a single image of a cactus while planning that became the inspiration from which I drew colors, textures, and overall design ideas from. Since I’m a designer and art director, I wanted to create a logo for us as well. That way everything would have a cohesive look. In general, with most decisions we made sure that it was something we genuinely loved or wanted for the day, rather than something that was expected of us. The result was a wedding that truly reflected us as a couple!
We love how sometimes the smallest, simplest thing can inspire something as big as a wedding! Thanks so much to Taylor Lord for the gorgeous photos + to Jessica Sloane for the pretty, pretty styling + design. And congrats, of course, to the lovely Paige + Jon Mark!
Ok, those bouquets! Crafted by Melissa of Vintage Florals, they embody the organic, rustic side of the design to a T.
The bridesmaids each chose the dress of their choice in varying muted shades. And – score! –Paige’s whole bridal look is available in the GWS shop! Scoop up her Laverne BHLDN Gown right here + her adorable lace Chantilly Booties here!
There were a few! Saying our vows to each other in front of everyone we love was definitely a big one. We wrote them ourselves so it felt that much more special! Another would probably have to be the few moments that we stole away, just the two of us, during the reception to soak it all in. I highly recommend it!
Loving all the touches of gold displayed throughout the reception + one of our fave elements of the whole design was the hand-carved cake topper, created by Paige’s grandfather, depicting the couple + their beloved pup. So sweet!
Processional: Beautiful – Phil Wickham (Sung live by family of the bride)
Recessional: Let My Love Open the Door – Pete Townshend
First Dance: If I Needed You (version by Andrew Bird), sung live as a duet by family and friend of the bride

Keep your guests in mind. You want them to enjoy the night just as much as you do! It's a rare treat to have everyone you love in one room. Also, delegate the tasks that don't need your personal touch to someone else. Delegation is KEY to making the process easier and less stressful.
