“I dream that you and I are two plants that grew together, roots entwined” – Pablo Neruda
That lovely quote inspired this lovely shoot by photographer, Sarah, from Pie Shoppe. While Sarah admits that Pablo probably wasn’t envisioning those plants as cacti of the Southwest, that’s what makes her interpretation all the more creative. She says, Along with our love for those prickly, viridescent plants, our inspiration for this shoot came from the funky geometric architecture of the Albuquerque Desert Conservatory and the rosy watercolor hues of a desert sunset. Striving to inspire the couple who has a fondness for cacti and is excited about thinking outside the box when it comes to wedding venues, this shoot has many colorful features, including lovely tableware from Anthropologie and yummy prickly pear cocktails!
The perfect desert bouquet in our opinion (did you see that orange slice?!) by Floriography Flowers, who also conceptualized + designed the shoot alongside Sarah.
The watercolor paper goods, by Daydream Prints, were a great, modern touch. And loving those patterns + textiles.
