What do you get when a talented group of Los Angeles vendors and a New York City based photographer collaborate? A ‘Moroccan Love’ editorial in the heart of LA. And boy is it good! The perfect scene to be inspired by for a city loft wedding, photog Ilene Squires, the designers at One Darling Day, and florist Valerie Jurado beautifully executed a setting filled with the best Moroccan-boho details. You can’t help but fall in love with the hues of blue, fun metallics, and – of course – that amaze bougainvillea backdrop. And we love the story the team dreamt up: a wedding inspired by a couple who met + fell in love in Morocco! Dreamy, no? We think it is!
This ceremony set-up has so much wow-factor! Valerie tells us, We used monochromatic pinks, playing with different blooms like Bougainvillea and 5,000 Dendrobium Orchid blooms for an Ombre affect on the canopy-which was custom made. Oh, and you can’t ignore the creative aisle runner and table runner. We played Tetris with the tiles until we found a perfect pattern. The lanterns…oh the many lanterns, the cylinders with candles, and the one of a kind antique terrarium. Did you see our cake and cocktails? Definitely, a delicious sight.
And loving all the tile details + those pomegranate place cards! A really fun touch!
The prettiest cocktail trio by Craft Event Services…
Since Hudson Loft has a gorgeous rooftop (with great views of Downtown LA), the team took full advantage, staging a sweet portrait session at sunset!
Who else is dreaming of Morocco now?! Pretty cool that you can get this look in the heart of Los Angeles – or any city for that matter!
Thanks to the team for sharing!
