Moonrise Kingdom Styled Elopement

moonrise kingdom styled elopement

This weekend one of my most anticipated movies of the year comes out, Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom! I actually have a wedding to go to this weekend (yay!!), so I probably won’t get to see it until next week, but so looking forward to it! If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, totally check it. The film is about a pair of kids in the 1960′s who fall in love and run away together with all in the iconic + quirky Wes Anderson fashion.

Well, Christy of The Gown Swap is also pretty excited about the film! Inspired by the trailer, she came up with the idea of a couple eloping in an old fashion Bronco to a comfy tent in the middle of a wildflower meadow. I love how Kristina of Jar of Buttons incorporated lots of details + styling from the film and thanks to Meghan Christine Photography for the capturing the fun concept!
