Shades of blue make up such a pretty palette for weddings. We love the moody feel and the fact that ocean hues (ranging from teal to cobalt to indigo) can work so beautifully in so many different locations. Shannon Elizabeth Photography dreamt up a setting with an edgy, cool vibe using this color story. She tells us, We went for a blue cake, blue suit and tie, blue ribbon, blue blankets, everything blue! Too much blue? Not even! We certainly couldn’t love it more!
Pretty paper + calligraphy by WildField Paper Co.
So the dress wasn’t blue, but this beauty from The Bride’s Shop certainly fit with the shoot’s romantic vibe.
Florist, Amber Reverie, crafted a lovely and wild flower + foliage heart featuring blue thistle.
What a gorge bouquet! (Tied with the prettiest hand-dyed ribbon by Silk and Willow.)
“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
That’s the most adorable blue cake, right? Flour and Flourish did a brilliant job!
We’re loving blue now more than ever! Big thanks to Shannon + her amazing team for bringing this beautiful setting to life! Are any of you designing your wedding with a focus on pretty blue hues?
