While we adore an outdoor wedding as much as the next girl, today’s editorial, captured beautifully by Gregory Ross, gives us about a million reasons to love a good city loft celebration! Gregory + his wife Erin conceptualized a modern setting where organic elements could artfully mingle with intentional details. They teamed up with creatives from across the country + globe to start to piece their vision together and we’re loving the pretty scene they’re sharing with us! Such good inspiration for an indoor wedding, don’t you think?! Let’s hear a bit more about it from Erin:
Greg + I were inspired by a handful of seemingly dissimilar things when we first started conceptualizing this editorial. A sparse modern loft with views of Downtown Los Angeles, an effortless, yet elegant, sequin gown by our favorite Australian designer, Karen Willis Holmes, and unexpected + wild greenery details.
Katherine of Script Merchant nailed the team’s vision with an invitation suite, and coordinating handwritten paper goods, that were the perfect balance of modern + timeless. We’re way into this color palette, too!
Seriously, how good is this dress?! It’s the Alexandra Gown with the Genevieve Overlay. And the stunning updo + ‘modern French girl-inspired’ makeup by Italia Pierfederici is such a perfect match for it!
Inessa Nichols is a true artist at her craft, completely designing + building vignettes from scratch that looked like they were an organic extension of the space at Hudson Loft.
We’re crazy about this organic, romantic tablescape, featuring subtle touches of gold + a gorgeous greenery chandelier overhead.
