Even though Pantone declared emerald as the color of 2013, I think mint will be a big color in weddings this year! I especially love the combo of mint with brass and this lovely styled shoot shares some great ideas for incorporating mint + brass into your wedding day with the patterned table runner, vintage jewelry, place settings, printed materials, and the gorgeous mint buttercream wedding cake. The team accented the decor with feathers and bird elements to go with the overall theme: “Let’s Fly Away.” The Villa in San Juan Capistrano, California provided earthy elements and the perfect backdrop for the shoot. Big thanks to Adrian Jon Photography for the photos and Floral Occasions for the lovely florals!
The mint + brass cake is by Simply Sweet Cakery and all the great vintage rentals are from Found Vintage Rentals.
In addition, Brothers Nelson and Co. completed a fun video of the shoot!
Thanks so much to all these creative artists for sharing their talents with us today!

Can anyone tell me where the first dress is from?
The dresses from this shoot are vintage finds from Soil and the Sea. You can contact her for more information via her website here: http://www.thesoilandsea.com/
I absolutely love these table runners and am trying to locate them; I contacted Signature Party Rentals and they’re not theirs, but SPR said that they may be La Tavola…any help? Thanks! xx
Hi Shari,
I actually bought the fabric through Etsy and made them myself for this styled shoot. I sprayed some lace with gold paint and glued it onto the fabric. Here is the name of it.
“Parisville Sea of Tears Ships Mint Green Brown by Tula Pink for Free Spirit Fabrics”
Maybe you can find some more…good luck!
