Martha Weddings Sneak Peak with an Old Hollywood Glam Wedding

martha-stewart-summer-2011

I have a special sneak peak for you guys this weekend! The summer issue of Martha Stewart Weddings is on newsstands on Monday, but they sent over a gorgeous wedding for me to share with you guys today! The summer issue is their DIY issue and looks like there are some great DIY ideas for your wedding.

Courtney + Jose are two San Francisco love birds who love Old Hollywood and all the glamour that comes with it. So they dreamt up a movie-worthy wedding in The Green Room at San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center. With help from some friends, this was a pretty hands-on affair, with DIY touches like the stationery, bridal bouquet, centerpiece vessels, and a dessert table that looks like it was straight from Paris! So super sweet! Congrats you two!!

See more from their wedding in the new Martha Stewart Weddings magazine on newstands today and on their website here. I’ll be taking the rest of the long weekend off, hope you all get outside and take a break from planning – I think that is so important for your relationship too. :) See you back on Tues with a wedding you won’t want to miss!

  1. I love the gorgeous detailing of this wedding and it’s so nice to see a beautiful bride with some curves as well!

  2. love black and white stripes, stunning and fun!

  3. Such an appealing combination of blush pink and seafoam green (whatever you call it, it’s lovely!).

  4. Oh beautiful. So amazing to see an actual, REAL couple too! That is of course also San Francisco City Hall- both the large building with the dome and the white and gold interior shots were all there. I wonder if they just went there for pictures or if they had their ceremony there. I shoot there fairly frequently- beautiful old historic building. Even had a couple come as far as Boston to get married there! :)

  5. Thanks for the peek & enjoy your holiday! I’ll take a rain check for next weekend when I’m back in the states with my fiance! YAY!

  6. I love the patisserie! :)
    pretty in pink bouquet!

  7. What a gorgeous setting and a gorgeous couple too! I think the black and gold on the scrolls and bouquet fits the setting very nicely.

  8. I’ve shot in SF City Hall.Arealpalace. Beautiful post!

  9. great concept, love the mini candy flosses
