Refined. Chic. Sophisticated. Marble has quite the history so it’s no wonder we’re seeing the rich texture continue to pop up all over, from kitchen tools to phone cases. This is a trend that’s going to stick around for awhile and we LOVE everything it represents when it comes to the union of two people: sturdy, built to last, and masterfully crafted. What a way to define a relationship, right?!
Today’s inspiration united a team of masters in their own right, pooling their talents to bring the dignified texture to life!
From Kelly at Kelly Ann Photography: This marble inspiration shoot was in the making for over a year. We wanted to create a romantic story of two lovers finding peace in this serene place to confess their love. Marble is classically known to sculpt some of the greatest statues of our time. We felt is was only appropriate to create an equally beautiful love story with simple yet stunning details.
Kelly captured all the opulence in the photos below (which are just WAITING to be pinned, btw):
These polished invitations by Victoria Katsikis (of Ellie Alexander) set the stage for a stylish event.
So dreamy! That vintage ring is from Trumpet & Horn.
STUN-NING. We love how this bouquet by Lindsay Coletta moves like a layered (and sometimes wild!) swirl of marble.
Practically perfect subtle hair and makeup by Marina Rumpee.
Taking “marble counter top” to the next level…
Wondering about this INCREDIBLE dress? It’s by Mywony (and we’re obsessed).
