Today’s styled shoot pulls inspiration from the rich colors + textures of the textiles of both Central and South America. Styled by Primary Petals along with photographer Farhad Samari, this shoot has lots of great inspiration for couple’s wanting a gorgeous outdoor wedding – I mean, check out the stunning ceremony location above! A bit more about the shoot from Samantha of Primary Petals…
We shot in the hills of Malibu at the Great Spirits Ranch, which evoked the Latin American vibe with it’s ranch style buildings, florals, views, and lamas! My favorite part of the shoot was the ceremony site, which the Primary Petals team built at the edge of a cliff to take advantage of mountain top venue.
Loving all the colors in the bouquet made of succulents, king protea, bougainvillea + more!
The textiles, provided by Hedi of Purple Agave (who travels across Latin America to source her products), are so colorful and full of life, so it was easy draw ideas from them.
The textiles provide a great tablecloth for the cake table and love the cactus + moss on the cake!
How unique is her gown?! The wedding dress was custom made by a family in Mexico as an example of a unique, bohemian take on a gown.
How amazing would this backdrop be for your ceremony?! So stunning especially with the bougainvillea branches!
Thanks so much to all these artists for sharing their talents with us today!

Beautiful
This is a gorgeously colourful concept photo shoot. I love how unique it is too.
Thank you so much for sharing my work again Jen! We shot this one a year ago, so it’s great to see it finally go up. Love all the colors in this one and my team of vendors were awesome!
Gorgeous bouquet!

Dear GWS,
I’m obsessed with the shorter of the two dresses featured. Please help me find out where it came from??
<3
I love the richness of the colour and texture in this shoot!
That girl looks EXACTLY like Topenga from Boy Meets World!!
I LOVE everything about this but I must know how to get a gown like that!! We will be doing a vow renewal in Cabo and this gown would be perfect!!
I am sure there are a lot of women (like me) who would love to own a dress like that!
Hermosas imágenes!!! soy latinoamericana, del norte de mi país, donde pueden verse esas artesanías, colores y cactus y nunca me hubiera imaginado una ambientación así, realmente muy hermosa!!!
(Beautiful pictures! I’m Latin American, north of my country, where you can see these crafts, colors and cactus and I never imagined a setting like this, really very beautiful!)
It’s been mentioned above but , that dress! My oh my- what family made this? This is a wonderful piece of art. Would love to know how to attain one. Great photo shoot!
I absolutely love this wedding style!
Coming from Chilean background my dream is to incorporate Latin American style/traditions into my wedding later this year.
