LA venue – Moroccan-inspired Figueroa Hotel

Do you dream of getting married in Morocco, but can’t seem to fit that in your budget? I’ve found the perfect solution – the Figueroa Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. With its abundance of pillows and exotic silks, this Moroccan-inspired oasis seems worlds away from it’s downtown LA address. Stepping through the doors of the Figueroa is like stepping straight into North Africa, and there isn’t a corner that doesn’t boast an exotic detail that supports the fantasy of being transported to Casablanca.

The ultimate in laid-back style, there are many different rooms to choice from. Outside, ceremonies can be held poolside or in the Bougainvillea-filled courtyard, Rick’s Place. Inside, there is the Rabat room, which is decked out with draped fabric and jewel-toned stained-glass ceilings. There is also Club Fes which you could use for an after-party. For your wedding night, indulge in the Casablanca suite, which has an enormous cement tub built for two.

Your budget will thank you since you can save money on flowers and decor – not much more needed here! The food is great also. It is conveniently located across the street from the Staples Center and the new L.A. Live complex.

Check back tomorrow to see photos from a real wedding at the Figueroa!
