Intimate Portland Vow Renewal: Corinna + Luke

Portland Vow Renewal

You just might recognize this killer warehouse venue from the stylish Portland wedding we shared on Monday. Apparently Jacobsen Salt Co. is on fire! :) Things look a little different this time around, though, because Corinna + Luke’s sweet vow renewal was super intimate, with a tropical vibe + color palette for the florals, food and styling. The Lambs Table created a family style dinner featuring intense Indian flavors atop one of the coolest vintage dining tables we’ve seen, from Commonwealth. And Selva Floral Design totally nailed it with a pretty insane tropic centerpiece + a plant-flanked alter for C + J’s vows.

There’s lots to see, so let’s jump right in! Tanks so much to Maria Lamb for the beautiful captures + big congrats to Corinna + Luke! We love that you two chose to celebrate your love in a big way by renewing your vows!

A little bit about the couple of honor: Luke and I have been together since we were 17 and married at 20. We were the poster kids for young love, and couldn’t have imagined what life would have in store for our budding little family. Luke went to college while I worked, and when he graduated and got a job, we started talking about having kids. The next thing you knew we had our first little house and three little boys keeping us very busy. Priorities shifted, and Birthday parties took over celebrating our anniversary. We’d maybe go out to dinner, but something told us it was time to take the time to really celebrate our love this year.

Corinne says, The evening was flawless! The day was sunny, and the light streamed into the Jacobsen Salt Warehouse perfectly. The setting was intimate, romantic and felt like you were being spoiled yet completely in comfort at the same time. It all came together so beautifully! Close friends and relatives arrived and we enjoyed catching up over the lovely hors d’oeuvres and cocktails that were perfectly matched to each other.

Soon it was time to gather together. As it was on our wedding day, no nerves snuck up on me, because we have always felt so natural together. With everyone seated to hear our vows, we stood once again face to face. Our friend and pastor, Jeff Marsh led out the ceremony, then Luke started the vows. I teared up for minute, just thinking how amazing it was to be there where we were. It was so nice to take that moment and say what we loved about each other still, and more now than ever before. That we could say we are still so very in love and committed after all these years, meant so much. We would do it all over again without question.

Three desserts with drink pairings were passed by candlelight. Guests congregated in the center of the warehouse, which gave the room definition and warmth.

Corinna + Luke say, We felt so spoiled throughout the evening, and so grateful for all the thoughtfulness that was put into every detail for the nights celebrations.

Congrats, you two! We wish you a lifetime of love together!
