Inspired by Paper + Old Books

As a graphic designer, I just love paper! Especially when people use different types of paper in a fun, unique way like this fun photoshoot inspired by old books. Outstanding Occasions in Arizona came up with the design concept using old book pages transformed into chargers, chandeliers, chair enhancements and more. I also love the sophisticated palette of black, flax and ivory.

Isn’t the table great?! Love the paper placemats. And an anemone bouquet – sigh, my favorite!!

And how cute are the streamers of paper hanging from the bike?! So perfect. Hope you found some new inspirations from the pages of old books today. If you are looking to incorporate any of these ideas, be sure to check thrift stores and libraries for old used books.

The crisp color palette of black, white and ivory kept with the feel of the vintage paper and really tied everything together for a very sophisticated and classy look.
