Yesterday was the first day of spring (although it didn’t feel like it here in LA as we had crazy amounts of rain and wind), but I’m so ready for spring as I’m guessing lots of you are too. :) I think this bouquet below lends to a perfect palette for a spring or summer wedding. I’m picturing a “secret garden” wedding. Absolutely love the wedding dress by Saja for an afternoon wedding in a garden. You could incorporate vintage keys as name cards, a boutonniere or part of your reception decor. And that cake by Maggie Austin? It’s like a giant flower with all it’s petals and I’m in LOVE! Is anyone planning a wedding outdoors in a garden?

very beautiful cake….. :)
It’s all so romantic!
Love that cake!!!
Venue selection was dependent on budget, so a garden didn’t fit the wedding. To compensate, it is still outdoors and we’re bringing the garden to the lush riverside venue anyhow with swags of branches coated in flora and fauna.
LOVE the groom, and his bow tie (and his hair). So glad spring is finally here!!
All my favorites wrapped up in one sweet little inspiration board!
that petal cake is gorgeous!

That cake! Oh my goodness– that cake! love!

Maggie’s cakes taste as incredible as they look too! Love this board! xo
I had a Secret Garden wedding because it was my favorite book as a child and my husband’s Aunt wrote it! It was wonderful. :) We used Robins egg blue as a main color to play off of the Robin in the book, and lots of birds and skeleton keys as favors. But I think I emailed that you once, a long time ago.
Those keys are so cool! Great photography!
