I just love today’s inspirational shoot! Using a mint + gold color palette, Izzy Hudgins Photography + Simply Savannah Weddings & Events wanted to show couples that they can have a gorgeous wedding while still being green. Just love it! The location for the shoot is an up-and-coming event venue in Savannah, Georgia called Southern Pine Company. It’s actually a salvage company that makes reclaimed wood furniture but they have an amazing warehouse and courtyard that can be cleared for events. The venue lent the tables and mantel for the shoot and most of the décor was from recycled glass jars that they collected and painted gold + mint. Hope this helps inspire some couples and shows that being green doesn’t have to stop you from being glam too! :)
Love that the bride’s hairpiece incorporates a gold painted succulent! So eco-chic! :)
My favorite DIY project was making the fabric garland. I wanted to use fabric instead of tissue paper because it could be re-used rather than thrown away. Right now it’s hanging in my office for some daily inspiration.
Thanks so much to all the following creative artists for this glam + green wedding inspiration!

Love the gold accents…..especially the cute flower pots!
I mean who doesn’t love some gold glitter!
Katie we do not have the label for the bridesmaid dress but it was from JC Penny. Thanks for all the wonderful comments too!! Nicole came up with the color palette and made the invitation suite, hanging garland, place settings and napkins. I did the flowers
terrariums & succulents, gold Styrofoam board letters, plus mint seed escort cards with paint chips and glitterized clips. And as a team, Nicole, Izzy and I put our efforts together for all the fashion! It was so much fun!!
Love all these ideas for my mint/gold wedding :) I’m thinking of designing my own invitation suite…what is the script font that you used? I’ve been trying to find one exactly like it!
Maggie,
The font can be found here: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/emily-lime/bombshell-pro/
