It’s August now – can you believe it?! – and summer is in full swing here in Cali. With June gloom here, it always seem that summer starts a bit later for us than everyone else, but it is here and I’ve been loving the hot weather. I think a fun trend for summer – and even fall weddings – are yummy gourmet popsicles! I just love all the super creative flavors coming from some of the pop shops out there. Avocado basil. Thai Iced Tea. Strawberry Rosemary. Yes, please! So I thought I’d collect a list of some of the most fun popsicles shops + carts you could possibly hire for your wedding day. And be sure to check back later for a fun popsicle DIY. :)
We’ll start in Los Angeles with the Pop Shop (top photo from pop shop also). They have yummy flavors such as: amaretto white peach, avocado vanilla, lychee peachy, mexican chocolate
Popcycle Treats is also in LA and they deliver by a bicycle. :) Flavors here include: cantaloupe star anise, limeade cherry, vanilla plum, chocolate coconut milk
Chandler, Arizona has the cutest shop: Paletas Betty, where the pops come with a small “bite” out of the top. :) Flavors include: key lime pie, blackberry+lavender, spicy mango, rice pudding

Locopops is your shop in North Carolina. They have locations in Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh and flavors include: mexican chocolate, cookies and cream, mojito, chocolate bourbon pecan bacon, lemon thyme
Las Paletas in Nashville gets lots of raves (photos below by Phindy Studios). Fun flavors include: strawberry blackberry, avocado, blueberry chocolate chip, watermelon with chili lime salt
Pop Bar in New York City. Their flavors include: blood orange, pistachio, hazelnut “dressed up” (chocolate dipped and coated in hazelnuts)
People’s Pop in New York City (definitely stopping here on my next trip to the city!). Flavors include: plum + sour cherry, blueberry chai, raspberry basil, watermelon mint
And this lovely couple below had a popsicle cart at their wedding – Fat Face in Sacramento. I’ll be sharing lots more photos + details from their gorgeous wedding in the coming week – can’t wait! So, what do you guys think – anyone planning on having some gourmet popsicles at their wedding? Did I miss any great places in your city? I’d love to hear about them. :)
