What’s more perfect for Valentine’s Day then lots of pretty gold + red inspiration! The inspiration for this shoot was found at the fabulous venue, Kunde Family Estates in Sonoma, CA. When Amanda from Amanda O’Shannessy Creative first saw the Dunfillan Ruins, she knew she just had to set-up a ceremony in that space. The team wanted to show that even though winter in wine country isn’t as bright and lush as it is in the summer, there’s a dark, moody air about it that can be just as romantic…
Amanda:Â When I closed my eyes the first thing that I envisioned was a gold glitter ombre ceremony backdrop. I wanted the lightness and sparkle of the backdrop to really pop against the dark gray stone walls of the ruins. I chose to outfit the rest of the ceremony space with neutral lounge furniture from our One True Love Vintage Rentals collection.Â
We carried these ceremony elements – gold embellishments, textured linen fabrics, dark, moody florals, and rich wood tones – throughout the rest of the shoot.
Thanks so much to all these creative California artists for sharing your talents with us today!

The red and gold accents look lovely with the setting. The dresses look amazingly beautiful.

Beautiful work by all! Nice change of pace to see deep, rich shades of crimson being used.
I love the gold and red color palette, and lots of sparkles – my favorite!
Gorgeous! Styled to perfection!
Love the details, and the shoes!
This was such a fun shoot to be a part of! I still can’t get enough of the Sarah Seven gown we used! Thanks for featuring us today Jen!
I know that that Beauitful Gold gown is by Sarah Seven but where is the tea length white and red one from? It took my breath away + would be such a fun after party dress !
the other dress is a dress from anthropologie + a tulle skirt over the top of it!
