Fun Farmers Market Inspired Wedding: Chelsea + Dillon

farmers market wedding

Chelsea + Dillion’s gorgeous wedding was inspired by their desire to have a completely unique, romantic + memorable day, all while incorporating their love of health and the great outdoors. They also share a passion for creating, so they wanted their wedding to be completely interactive and filled with lots of fun activities + crafts that their guests could participate in and enjoy. But it wasn’t until they met with Tammy of Tammy Mitchell Designs, and she suggested a farmer’s market theme, that everything really started to come together and the inspiration for their day began to come to life. Here’s a bit more from Tammy about some of the fun + unique design elements included in this lovely wedding:

Guests were greeted by a custom-made wooden sign welcoming them to the “Boye’s Farmer’s Market” and an antique truck that was towed to the ranch to serve as a gift holder. Everyone dined on sliders + street tacos and sipped fresh squeezed lemonades and the reception tables were decorated with burlap table cloths topped with custom-made runners in mixed matched fabrics, each one unique in order stick with the eclectic feel we were looking for. We wanted everything to feel beautiful, fresh + colorful…

Big thanks to Burnt Exposure for the lovely photography + congratulations to Chelsea + Dillon!

The ranch was styled with tons of fresh produce + food stands that represented the different booths you might find at a farmer’s market. Seriously impressive, right?! And I love that Chelsea + Dillon cared so much about what happened to all of the fresh fruits + veggies at the end of the day. The hundreds of pounds of produce that was ordered for decor was donated to a homeless shelter in the area that helps families who have hit tough times get back on their feet. Love it.

Tammy also built a super rad cinema station which played a charming film starring Chelsea + Dillion! Guests sat on hay bales and snacked on trail mix from a “make your own trail mix” station.

The dessert station included homemade peanut butter, snickerdoodle, + chocolate chip cookies, coconut cream + triple chocolate mini cupcakes, raspberry + lemon bars, cherry + apple pie pops, and the favorite of the night: the bride and groom’s vegan chocolate banana wedding cake!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

The most memorable part of our day was the extreme party! With 500 plus people there it would be safe to say that it is the biggest wedding that has taken place at Parker Ranch.
