Friday Favors with lots of Hearts!

Happy Friday lovelies! I can’t believe another week has flown by! Anything fun planned for the weekend? We are working on a few big projects, so it looks like some work for me on Sunday, but planning to take Saturday off. One thing I’ve realized with running your own business is you can work all the time! Especailly when you work out of your home like we do. It’s so important to get away from the computer a bit and enjoy life – another thing to also remember when you are planning your wedding! Take at least one day a week where there is no wedding planning talk! :) Well, since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner next week, I thought I’d share some of my fave heart finds from the week – maybe it will spark an idea for next Tues…

• Love this heart banner + photo by Max Wanger
• Super cute arrow DIY for place cards
• how cute is this cake with a heart in the slice?!
• one of my all-time favorite Valentine Day shoots from the GWS archives – by the fabulous Simply Bloom ladies!

Don’t Forget! Today is the last day to enter for our Paws Up Bachelorette Party!

Two of our awesome sponsors, Joanna August and Milk & Honey Shoes, just opened a new showroom  together in downtown LA! Check out their websites for all the details.

I’m sure a lot of you may already have heard about this, but if not, our dear friend + photographer, Elizabeth Messina, just released her first book, The Luminous Portrait. The book is filled to the brim with beautiful photographs and information on shooting lush, romantic portraits in natural light. The kind of portraits we LOVE sharing here on GWS and everyone wants to remember those special moments. Whether you are photographing children, weddings, maternity or portraits of any kinds, The Luminous Portrait will inspire you with Elizabeth’s personal approach and award winning images. Click here to pre-order your copy today!
