Friday Favors – June 25th

What a fun week here on Green Wedding Shoes! So exciting to finally share our (500) Days of Summer shoot! I’d also like to welcome two new sponsors to Green Wedding Shoes:

The Green Bride Guide is a great resouce for green wedding ideas – and they have a Green Registry you can use! The two photos on the left are from the registry. There are lots of great items for your home, entertaining, and garden, so be sure to check it out.

Momental Designs – Kristy Rice is the creative force behind Momental Designs. You may rememeber some of our collaborations we worked on together this past year ( you can see here, here, and here). She does all the art by hand. Simply beautiful. The two photos above right are of Kristy’s work. Be sure to also check her blog for more of her work.

And some other fun things from around the web in case you missed them:

The newest issue of Nonpareil Magazine is out and I love it. The theme is all around inspiration from the movies :)

And it is that time of the year for some Wedding Blog Awards :)

Aisledash is hosting their first ever Wedding Blog Awards. You can nominate up to 3 blogs in 12 different categories.

The Wedding Channel is also hosting their Bridal Blog Awards (you may remember Green Wedding Shoes won this last year thanks to all your votes!). You can nominate one blog in 6 different categoires.

If you’d like to nominate Green Wedding Shoes and/or your other favorite sites, that would rock! We love all your support :) Happy Weekend!!

  1. Good stuff! I think I must have one of those lamps… or two. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Where are the 3 vases in the photo from? They are wonderful!

  3. Karen- They are from the Green Bride Guide :)
    Aren’t they great?!

  4. Thanks for the great post – I am glad everyone loves the lamp and vases. We have worked hard to put together a collection of really unique, eco-friendly gifts that support local artisans and companies that are making a difference. Thanks again for helping us get the word out about this important resource.
