Friday Favors + Holiday Fun

succulent trees

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful week. Some big news for myself + GWS! For those of you that didn’t know, I have been working fulltime as a Creative Director at an ad agency here in LA ever since I started this blog two years ago. It’s been a lot of work balancing that demanding job and running this site at the level I strive for and trying to enjoy life with my husband. Well, after lots of talks with the hubby about what we really wanted to do with our life, we’ve decided that I will now be working fulltime here on GWS while continuing to take on some styling + design projects!! My hubby (Jason) will be taking a larger role in helping out with our strategy, advertising and other updates with the site. We are so excited to work together fulltime on GWS and keep bringing great wedding inspiration to you guys. I wanted to say THANK YOU so much to all my loyal readers + sponsors and all of you who have helped spread the word about GWS. I am SO thankful that I found a job I love and one that I get to spend working with my hubby. We already have some great ideas for next year and I hope you continue to love what we are doing here.

And some fun links!

How gorgeous is this huge flower bouquet? It’s made of fabric + will last forever! Adore it.

Wouldn’t this make the sweetest wedding dress? It’s from Ruche and under $90!

Uber-talented Carissa of JL Designs just revealed her holiday collection – the succulent trees are genius! So many pretty things…

Looking for custom handkerchiefs for your groom? Check out these beauties by Sarah Drake. And as a special for GWS readers if you enter GREEN2010 you will receive free shipping anywhere in the states!

If you live in LA, check out the Renegade Craft Fair or Artisanal LA this weekend for lots of handmade gifts – you may spot me + my hubby there :).

A favorite from a year ago: A rainy Vermont wedding where breakfast was served for dinner!

And be sure to check out this amazing Save the Date Adam sent me. He is a producer + she is an actress, so to create excitement for their LA wedding, they created a movie trailer for their friends + family. Love is a Magical Thing!
