Becky + Garret wanted a wedding that would represent the two of them + be filled with all of their favorite things (peaceful hill country, good food, good music and their love for the bohemian lifestyle). They made it happen with the help of the team Two Be Wed and some hard work + DIY projects of their own. Their biggest priority was to make sure everyone who came had a really great time. The last thing they wanted was their guests feeling stuffy or bored. (We hear ya, guys!) But it wasn’t even possible since the free-spirited celebration they hosted at one of Texas’ raddest + lesser known (to us, at least!) venues looked like it was so much fun! Let’s hear more about the setting from Becky:
My mother was actually the one to find this amazing gem of an old gothic chapel tucked away in the forest of a musical institute near town. The venue is actually originated as a bed and breakfast before they built the Pearl barn for weddings. The owner is the famous Rachel Ashwell who coined the term Shabby Chic and is known world wide. She chose this beautiful little town in the middle of Texas down an old dirt road to transform all of the cottages with her amazing design. Garrett and I both have a deep love to get out of the city and head west to the Texas Hill country. We wanted our friends and family to get away and celebrate love with us.
Thanks, Kate Love Photo, for these gorge images!
The day went by so fast as everyone says it does but I really actually enjoyed waking up in the morning with my girls and having a peaceful long walk down the country roads while the sun was rising, then on to a bath in the cottage and breakfast with mimosas to get pampered… it was the perfect start to an amazing day.
We’re obsessed with Becky’s gold-topped BHLDN dress and the bridesmaids’ perfect Free People frocks!
Such a cute first look in an old greenhouse!
And the florals by Breen’s could not have been better!
These two. The cutest together!
The palette of green, gold + berry present throughout the entire celebration (but most noticeably at the reception) was such a fun choice!

Hire a day-of coordinator and stay true to your vision. As one myself, I know that without one, all of the money and time spent leading up to this one day could be jeopardized if there is not someone to properly execute it. You don’t want that responsibility to fall on your loved ones around you, instead you get to enjoy it with them. Also, the day goes so fast do not let anything bother you that day, just enjoy!

The dark lipstick of the girls is just wonderful!! Great images!
The dark lipstick and the evergreen dresses that the bridesmaids wore were so lovely! I like her shoes too.
