In keeping with our flower-filled Thursday here at GWS, we thought this sweet film from Bows + Arrows would be a perfect addition to an already pretty day! The idea of using local flowers, native to your wedding location, kind of sounds like the best idea, right? Just like buying local produce from the farmers market, we’re guessing local blooms are pretty much guaranteed to be fresh, beautiful, and look absolutely gorgeous at your event! So, needless to say, we were excited to learn more about the forage process seen in this film! Here’s a bit more about it from team Bows + Arrows:
At Bows + Arrows, we design with the intent to preserve the natural integrity and presence of florals and their environments. As that being our guide to our passion for design, sourcing from local farms and foraging allows for us to acquire unique blooms, greens and textures that we then are able to create lovely and organically designed floral concepts. We collaborated alongside Kelly Christine in this film to relay our love for foraging and locally grown products, at one of our farms we regularly have the privilege of sourcing from for all of our weddings and events!

I love these flowers! I am embarking on a flower hunt tomorrow to make the perfect wildflower bouquet and this has given me great inspiration! I adore the colors, I’ve never been partial to pink but if I had seen an arrangement like this I would have gladly put them in my wedding!
