Engagement Photo Inspiration

I’ve been getting some really creative and beautiful engagement session lately and since I know a lot of you guys are planning for engagement photos in the next few months, I thought I would share a few of my favorites that I’ve received. First up is from Photographer Sarah Yates and also features some classic yellow eames chairs! So fun. The couple is Sara, a graphic designer, and Ryan, who is in med school. They live in Maryland and are planning their Palm Springs wedding from there. Super adorable photos guys!

All photos above by Sarah Yates who after Feb 1, 2010 will be Los Angeles based! Yay! But don’t worry, she still loves to travel and will travel to photograph you also :)

The next session is from the talented duo at Kellan Studios based out of Virgina. Sara + Todd were the couple who have actually been together over 10 year, but never had any portraits of them taken with the exception of wedding photos. They wanted some fun photos. And I agree – you need lots of cute photos with your significant other! No reason to just limit it to your engagement time (more on this topic next week!). This session included lots of different parts, but I think my favorite was a campfire at the end where they cooked s’mores together – how fun!

Amazing headpiece above by Lady Vintique.

You can see lots more from the session here, here, and here on the Kellan Studios blog.

And, last but certainly not least, is this awesome W Magazine inspired session from OC based photographer Braedon Photography. Holly + Ryan wanted to model their shoot after a spread in W Magazine and Braedon just ran with different ideas! Holly is in school for fashion design and did all her styling for the shoot. What a great collection of sexy and timeless images.

Be sure to check out more from this session here on Braedon’s blog.

So many different ideas and inspirations. I LOVE how couples, photographers and stylists are getting so creative with engagement photos! Even more to share next week :)
