With today being the last official day of summer, this shoot seemed like the perfect fit! This shoot came to life when a bunch of film loving, Contax 645 (a type of camera) enthusists decided to get together to talk shop and create some beautiful images while doing so. Daniele from Lavender & Twine volunteered to coordinate the logistics for the shoot and asked Magnolia Event Design and Tenley Erin Young to create something fun for their group to shoot. Having a soft spot for the 60s and the Bohemian lifestyle, they wanted to created a beautiful shoot that embraced the elements of earth, wind, fire and water. They collected vintage rugs and moccasins, bows & arrows from a Native American Texan named “Bowmaker”, contacted Andrea from Superfine Bakery for their gorgeous cake, Ayana Designs for the incredible jewelry, and went to work setting up what they imagined to be an intimate ceremony from the summer of love.
Totally in love with this cake by Superfine Bakery!
Thanks again to all these artists (including all the film shooters below!) for sharing their talents with us today!

So delighted to see all of these photos from our group shoot of film wedding photography enthusiasts published in one place. First time seeing all of these photos together and the collective composition is beautiful. The detailed planning and styling put together by Daniele (Lavender & Twine), Magnolia Event Design and Tenley Erin Young, and all of the others who contributed really made this turn out so wonderfully. Thanks for sharing this for us!

I was curious to know where the wedding dress and the bridesmaid dress is from? Any help tracking these down would be so helpful! Thank you!
