Today’s fun styled shoot, photographed beautifully by Chantel Marie, is all about pushing boundaries and juxtaposing seemingly opposite looks. The design team from Attention 2 Detail Events wanted to style a setting that would inspire brides-to-be with a combination of edgy + feminine details, like studded votives, loose, organic florals, hand-dyed textiles and bold paper goods, to create a layered + dynamic feel. And who says you can’t have a little fun with your wedding day look?! I love that they paired the bride’s dress with a chic black blazer and that the bridesmaids wore tuxedo-inspired pieces in a fitted, feminine silhouette. Here’s a bit more of the backstory of the shoot from the designers:
I wanted to create a look that still exuded a femininity and prettiness but had an edge for a bride and groom that wanted something different or didn’t want to completely take their wedding style into a fluffy and frilly place. I used a variety of pink shades to help bring out a softer side, but paired them with black and white stripes, leather, and even studded details to bring out more of an edgy look…
Such a pretty, lush bouquet by Blossom Sweet!
Love the look of the flatware? It’s super easy to achieve this look: simply wrap a coil of bendable wire, in hot pink, to the stems of each piece!

She looks so fabulous in that suit jacket! I’d love to see that trend catch on for brides who want to rock their own style!
I love how the dark, dramatic stationery matches the wedding theme.
This whole shoot is just so rad and totally gives me an 80’s vibe! Fun, fun fun! xox
