While we certainly aren’t ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, we have to admit, the palette and details from today’s super pretty elopement editorial, captured beautifully by Cassie Loree Photography, has us kind of excited for what’s to come this fall!
The brains behind this fun styled shoot, Nikki of Blooming House Collective, tells us, The elopement was set on the grounds of a vintage white barn, nestled in a field with oak trees. Inside the barn our custom-made agate slice back drop was placed before the white-washed walls and topped with a camellia garland. Dried magnolia leaves were scattered near the backdrop to complete the scene for the ceremony where the couple would exchange their vows.
The aforementioned backdrop is for sure winning us over! Such a unique + pretty twist to what is typically seen.
Good hair days abound all around. But we’re particularly eyeing the brides loose updo by Kristy Rankin. So pretty!
For the second scene, a hand-crafted dessert table made from worn barn wood was placed near some scattered, unused logs. Atop the table were desserts for the couple to enjoy together including a naked cake dusted with powdered sugar and almonds, frosted donuts, and a few bosc pears. The desserts were mixed with small curated accents which included ivory taper candles, a strip of creamsicle colored fabric, and a seeded eucalyptus bouquet. All of which coordinated with the bride’s bouquet. The shoot itself captures a present-day romance with a touch of outdoorsy, vintage flare.
We’re really digging that all greenery bouquet The Stalk Market put together for this project! It’s such a super fun + budget-friendly alternative to a flower-filled bridal bouquet.
Too lovely, right? Do these pretty colors and early autumn details have you just a bit excited for the upcoming season, too?
