Our DIY contributor Smitten on Paper is back today to share a super easy DIY that will also add a subtle vintage touch to your celebration! And the best part? This DIY can be used on favors or as a fun boutonniere for your guys! All you will need are some pages from an old book, a couple buttons and a couple of good ol’ brads! Enjoy!!
Materials:
1. pages from a book
2. punch cut – we used a flower shape
3. brads
4. awl
5. our downloadable template for flags
6. scissors
7. buttons
Step 1: Use the punch cut to create your petals. You will need about 5 for each flower bundle.
Step 2: Cut out your flags.
Step 3: Layer your petals and place them at the top of the flag. Use your awl to punch a small hole in the center of the petals and flag.
Step 4: Use a brad to fasten the petals to the tag.
Step 5: Crunch the edges of each flower petal, one layer at a time.
Step 6: Add a cute little button to finish them off!
You’re Done! We attached each little bundle to a kraft favor boxes. These would also make really adorable boutonnieres.

These are so cute! I love the look and texture that the book pages add to the project.
These are lovely! I think they would look great with a bit of red stitching on the flag part too :)

These are so cute… I just had to share… for a wedding, I made similar boxes but with the couples monogram rather than the “xoxo”. We used a stamp that I got from Three Designing Women.
