Today we are sharing a fun DIY on how to make your own bouquet charms! Thanks to Michelle Edgemont, you can customize your own little keepsake to wrap around your bouquet with words, you and your hubby’s names, or your wedding date! We also think making some for your bridesmaids bouquets would be a nice gift for your gals! Thanks to Michelle Edgemont for sharing the DIY! Lets see how she made them…
What You’ll Need:
• Oven bake clay, such as Sculpey or Fimo
• Circle cookie cutter
• Acrylic rolling pin
• Alphabet rubber stamps
Step 1: Roll out the clay to a ¼” even thickness.
Step 2: Cut out a circle shape with the cookie cutter. Smooth out the edges of your circle shape with your fingers.
Step 3: Stamp your saying into the clay. Use a quote, your names, or your wedding date. Make smaller ones for your bridesmaid’s bouquets too! The clay won’t dry out, which means that if you mess up, simply roll it back into a ball, flatten it, and cut a new circle.
Step 4: Punch a hole in the top of your charm with a big needle. Bake according to the directions on the package. Then, use a thin ribbon or twine to tie it around your bouquet.
Such a pretty keepsake! If you make your own bouquet charm, we’d love to see how it turns out, so please share on Instagram along with the hashtag #GreenWeddingShoesDIY

Air dry clay/paper clay would be even more in keeping with this site, more natural and not plasticky like polymer clay;)
