Coral + Rose Gold Wedding Inspiration

coral and rose gold inspiration

Friends, your Monday is about to get a whole lot brighter thanks to Mirelle Carmichael + Noonan’s Wine Country Designs. This colorful shoot features two of our most fave hues, coral + rose gold, and does it oh-so well. And we’re pretty smitten with all of the unique design elements the team infused, too. From the tasseled details seen throughout – everywhere from the invites, to the jewelry to the boutonniere! – to the crazy awesome floral arrangements, we think you’ll agree that there is definitely no shortage of pretty to pin + be inspired by!

More from Mirelle: The Dana-Powers Barn is one of the most popular venues along the Central Coast. We played on a palette of corals and reds with rose gold accents and dressed our bride in an alternative wedding gown: a pale blush Watters skirt courtesy of The Lovely Bride LA paired with a cropped tank and loads of gorgeous accessories. The bridesmaids wore shades of coral (dresses courtesy of Shop Lovely) and complimentary accessories and hairpieces.

If you are a fan of peonies, watercolor, fun jewels, pretty drinks or all of the above, get ready to fall in love…

Katie, of Noonan’s Wine Country Designs, was inspired by the gorgeous coral charm peonies that are stunning this time of year (May). With the ombre notion of going from light to dark, which was peach to red for this shoot, Katie put coral right in the middle of the spectrum as the show stopper. Red tones were brought in by beautiful garden roses, ranunculus and sweet peas. The touches of the rose gold on the foliage were subtly added into the designs with the use of the brand new Rose Gold color by Design Master spray paint.

Pink peppercorns to garnish

Texas Warehouse Wedding: Emily + Matt

Texas warehouse wedding

Think that a wedding can’t incorporate red, white, and blue without looking patriotic? Trust us, your feelings are about to change! Emily + Matt’s Georgetown, Texas warehouse wedding is pretty much as lovely as it gets, and as we poured through these gorgeous photos by Loft Photographie, we were definitely thinking more along the lines of colorful, elegant dinner party rather than Fourth of July BBQ! We also just might have collectively gasped (out loud) when we saw those amazing bouquets + arrangements, and the rest of the styling, by Without Wax, Katy. So darn good. Since Emily describes the inspiration behind the whole day best, we’ll let her go ahead and take it from here:

Something that was really important for us is for the ceremony and reception to represent both of us. We wanted everything to be very personal. We decided to incorporate Matt’s love for cars into the reception using vintage oil cans and the cake stand had license plates around the base painted red. Our venue was at one time a car shop, which made even the building seem more meaningful to us. It was important for me to have my sister draw portraits of the wedding party in the programs. We also made a custom crossword for our friends to do as they waited for the ceremony to begin. Everything turned out perfectly.

That’s a bouquet worthy of a close up, yes? It’s filled with peonies, red garden roses, clematis, hyacinth, fritillaria + touches of greenery.

Now that’s a cake! And we think every cake would look a bit more festive once decorated with a bunch of hot pink blooms!

And the groom’s cake was perfect for Matt + his love of cars!

My advice would be to take a breath and go with your heart. My mom didn’t love the bridesmaid dresses I picked out, but I LOVED them! My sister actually wants to wear it again (seriously!). I had people wonder if red and blue would be too “patriotic” for a wedding, but it turned out perfectly! Do what you love. Also, find a wedding designer/stylist who shares your vision. Worth every penny. Katy made everything look even better than I imagined.
